The Big Mo Invitational

The Big Mo Invitational is the Donkor Tennis & Education Foundation’s premier annual event  heading into its 3rd year as a cornerstone of youth tennis development in Ghana.

This tournament is more than just competition; it's a platform where young athletes gain the chance to compete, grow, and showcase their talent on a national stage.

In its second edition, the Big Mo Invitational made history as Ghana’s first-ever prize money tennis tournament, giving local players a professional stage to shine. This year, we’re proud to host the prize money event for the second consecutive time, reaffirming our commitment to expanding opportunities and raising the standard of tennis in Ghana.

Save the Date: The 3rd Annual Big Mo Invitational will take place October 23–26, 2025, in Accra, Ghana.

Last year’s U18 champion, Emmanuel Frimpong, is proof of the tournament’s impact. Following his victory, DTEF sponsored his journey to the United States, where he trained at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in Prince George’s County, MD and participated in an ITF tournament. His story embodies the doors this event can open for young athletes.
